Phil Ivey is a poker sensation because of his pure concentration during poker games with an excellent playing style.

The Aggressive Player, The Gentle Person

Phil Ivey, who grew up in New Jersey, is famous for his aggressive style of playing. Whenever Phil plays, he is always focused and pays attention to all the information provided by his opponents. The amazing thing about Phil Ivey is his ability to keep his composure especially in very tight games. He is definitely one-of-a-kind!

Because of his ability to become aggressive and witty in all his games, he would always win in every tournament. Surprisingly, Phil Ivey still doesn’t recognize himself as one of the bests, so he never ceases to learn new techniques and always continues to improve his game.

Although Phil Ivey is very aggressive during his play, he is a gentle and shy person. During the start of his career, Phil Ivey had a difficult time socializing with his fans. He would seldom meet with people, especially with women, but as his career flourished, he learned to socialize with his fans, and he is getting better at it.

Now, he is currently living in Las Vegas with his wife, and in moments when he doesn’t play poker, he would usually go to resorts and play golf. This is his favorite pastime.
